Points to remember while reporting a statement.

1. TENSES

👉 Present Tense to Past Tense. (V1 changes to V2)
write (V1)  changes to Wrote (V2)
- 👉 Present Continuous to Past Continuous 
(am/is/are + V-ing changes to was/were + V-ing)
is/ are writing changes to was/ were writing.
- 👉 Present Perfect to Past Perfect. (has/have +V3  changes to had +V3)
has/have written changes to had written.
- 👉 Present Perfect Continuous to Past Perfect Continuous 
(has/have been +V-ing changes to had been + V-ing)
has/have been writing changes to had been writing.
